For the June 2003 edition of Vanity Fair, she was recognized as one of the years' top teen celebrities. In 2004 Vega finished filming two films: Sleepover and State's Evidence. She was a web-based bully in Lifetime's television movie Odd Girl Out the following year. In 2006, she starred in a television movie, titled Walkout. In 2007 she completed her filming Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. Repo was finished. The Genetic Opera released in 2008. [10] Vega was confirmed to play her role as the principal in Helix composed and directed by Aram Rappaport. It began filming in Chicago beginning in March of 2008. She was initially cast as the main character in Robert Rodriguez's 2009 film Shorts. Vega appears as Wick in The Devil's Carnival (2012) directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and Terrance Zdunich. They have previously collaborated with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera.
