Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor that made her name known on television when she was cast as Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The show showcased her first albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Her follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Over the past decade, she was a guest in Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and several TV programs. She also released a few singles that were not albums. In 2021, the album The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre and later went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she made her acting debut as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. NBC Friday Night Lights, second season 2007,-2008. After a series of guest roles for All My Children (including CSI: NY), she was offered a regular role on Noelle Davenport. Kramer played on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until the end of 2012 when the show ended. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. She signed a contract with Elektra Records during this time and debuted the country-rock track "I Will Not Go Down" on the show's episode. In 2012, the song was released via Jana Kramer - her first album. It made it to the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of three on country's albums chart, and tenth on the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint during the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
